Job Description

Built to set the gold standard for integrated AI infrastructure

Crux AI is a newly formed, U.S.-based integrated AI infrastructure company created to remove the physical and operational constraints on consequential AI ambitions. Crux brings together power, high-density data centers, TPU silicon, networking, orchestration software, and ongoing operations as one integrated system.

Crux is being capitalized to plan every layer together, develop each one to demanding standards, and operate the whole system with efficiency and reliability. That gives hyperscalers, frontier AI labs, sovereign customers, enterprises, and AI-native companies greater freedom to pursue the AI they are here to create.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

In this role, you will:

You will architect the systems that ensure reliable funding for our rapid capital deployments on a day-to-day basis while cultivating relationships with our providers of capital, across debt and equity markets, in support of ongoing borrowing and equity offerings. Reporting to the CFO, you will build an automated, AI-forward cash operations engine to streamline daily disbursements, account reconciliations, and debt-facility payment waterfalls. You will maintain daily solvency and liquidity governance, running dynamic short-term cash flow models, tracking bank covenants, and executing interest rate, currency, and power hedging programs. In addition, you will serve as the primary external bridge to institutional debt and equity investors and sell-side analysts helping to craft the company’s capital narrative. You’ll contribute broadly and partner across Finance, Legal, and the executive team.

SIGNALS OF SUCCESS

After 60 days in this role:

  • Establish real-time cash visibility and a short and longer term plan for a detailed 13 week cash forecast

  • Review all existing banking relationships, account signatories, and debt agreements. Develop plans for debt compliance and day-to-day cash flow management

  • Meet with key members of the team to align on the core equity thesis and key operating metrics

  • Create a prioritized plan for key treasury and investor relations workflows

  • Adapt to a fast paced environment

After 6 months:

  • Demonstrate an AI-forward and automated approach to this role. Implement an automated treasury management system and a highly automated workflow for managing key treasury operations functions

  • Partner with the CFO to drive targeted strategy for managing investors and debtholders, including via non-deal roadshows and private investor meetings, as appropriate

After 1 year:

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a lean, high-performing team including treasury management and investor relations professionals

  • Demonstrate consistent operational excellence and impeccable attention to detail

  • Implement innovative approaches to accounting programs and team

EXPERIENCES, ATTRIBUTES AND MINDSET THAT INDICATE A GOOD MATCH

Experiences

  • 8–12+ years of progressive treasury, investor relations and/or corporate finance experience, including senior treasury and investor relations roles at a high-growth, pre-IPO, or publicly traded capital-intensive infrastructure company

  • Practical experience administering structured debt, asset-based lending, or equipment financing facilities, including borrowing bases and waterfall accounts

  • Demonstrated track record building high-precision 13-week cash models tied directly to heavy hardware procurement and supply-chain disbursements

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to relay complex operating concepts to debt and equity investors

Attributes

  • You are outcome driven and hands on. Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to dig into cash models on day one, while maintaining the strategic vision to develop an investor equity story. This is a builder's seat, not a supervisory one

Mindset

  • You have a high tolerance for ambiguity. You absorb ambiguity and navigate complexity rather than passing it along

Nice to have (Preferred, not required):

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), CFA, or CPA

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field

  • Experience in both start up and scaled enterprises
